Inspired by London's iconic Gherkin, the Charles 1870 Gherkin Sky Blue Fountain Pen celebrates one of the city's most recognisable landmarks through refined design and meticulous craftsmanship. The precision-engineered metal barrel reflects the building's distinctive diamond-patterned glass façade while echoing Tom Hessin's enduring diamond motif, creating a striking interplay of texture and light.

Sky Blue pairs sky blue lacquer with intricate legacy diamond detail, offset by a British-made chrome clip, a bird emblem finial and Tom Hessin logo band. A chrome-finish JoWo iridium nib gives a reliably smooth writing experience.

Sky Blue is also available with the Tom Hessin Ultra Flex nib: a specialised, highly springy nib whose tines spread easily under hand pressure, creating dramatic line variation from a fine stroke to a broad line.
